South Africa-based company’s delegation pays courtesy call on VP Howard-Taylor

MONROVIA, Liberia – Vice President Chief Dr. Jewel Howard-Taylor, on Tuesday, 19 February 2019, met with a 6-member business delegation of the TS CIBANE CONSULTING (CC) with Head offices in South Africa, at her Capitol Hill office in Monrovia.

During the delegation’s courtesy call on the Liberian Veep, Madam Howard-Taylor expressed government’s commitment to partnering with investors representing their various countries in Liberia with a view to fostering stronger ties based on mutual respect, according to a press release from the office of the vice president.

She used the occasion to draw the attention of the delegation’s members to the need for, and profitability in, investing in the agriculture and tourism sectors in Liberia.

She expressed the conviction that these two areas are crucial to the economic development of the country and its citizenry.

The Liberian Vice President also stressed the need for manufacturing companies in the country so as to foster partnerships with potential Liberian businesses.

Speaking earlier the Chief Executive Officer and President of TS CIBANE CONSULTING, Tholie Sebenzie, disclosed that her Team is in the country to explore areas for potential investments.

Madam Sebenzie told the meeting that her company is involved in building on relationships with the provincial and local government municipalities and the officials, NGOs and civic organizations.

She expressed the desire of her Company to provide a strategy for partnering with potential stakeholders to maintain these relations.

TS Cibane Consulting CC, based in South Africa, was formed in January 2009 with the principal objective of addressing the gap in the Mining and Petroleum production licensing and compliance in South Africa, especially in the inclusion and sustainable participation of the historically disadvantaged black communities.

In a related development, the Liberian Vice President has received in audience, a Nigerian Apostle Ayokunie Popola at her capitol building office.

Apostle Popola in a brief discussion with VP Howard-Taylor said he and his two member delegation were in the country on an assessment visit to explore investment opportunities in the areas of health mining and education.
